Yes! We know time is of the essence. At Bluebird Express, we are extremely focused on providing our customers with a clean car in five minutes or less!
We have an adept team of employees and state-of-the-art equipment to make sure this does not happen. We utilize a software system that tracks your vehicle throughout the entire wash process.
If you were to press the brake or gas pedal, our state-of-the-art system would immediately stop all operations for the safety of all systems. Once the issue has been resolved, operations will continue as normal.
Car Safety:
With our non-abrasive chemical formula, use of high-pressure water, and specialized equipment, intact paint will not come off of your car. If your car paint is already starting to peel, we cannot guarantee that additional paint will not come off. We advise you to resolve the paint issue before entering into a car wash to prevent further damage.
Exterior Questions:
We rely on a very sophisticated and eco-friendly line of chemistry to ensure that your vehicle comes out clean, shiny, and dry every time. We use a dedicated formula specifically designed for each car entering into the tunnel. We are sure to use mild soap with a non-abrasive texture to leave your car glistening, while still maintaining a glossy finish.
While there are restrictions on the size of cars, generally all non-commercial vehicles will fit. We work really hard to customize our equipment to service as many vehicles as possible, however there are some needs that we cannot accommodate such as:
- Dually trucks and vans
- Flatbed vehicles
- Vehicles fitted with fuel tanks and or gas pump systems
- Vehicles over 7’ tall
- Vehicles with wheels wider than 13”
- Box trucks
- Pre-1970 vehicles
- Vehicles with ladder racks that extend over the cab
- Vehicles with rocket boxes
- Excessively muddy vehicles
While time lapsed in between washes varies on the owner, we recommend washing your car at least once a week. It’s important to wash off all oil, dirt, and other chemicals that collect on your car. One week is just enough time to mitigate any contaminants on the road. If you enjoy a clean vehicle, you should join our Unlimited Wash Program and then you can wash anytime that you want!
To us, there is no such thing! We recommend washing your car at least once a week to keep your car free from dirt and other contaminants on the road. If you enjoy a clean car and like to wash often, it is even more important to ensure that you wax your vehicle per manufacturing recommendations. Much like lotion for your body and hands, your vehicle needs regular waxing!

Environment Questions
Because of our extensive reclamation system, we do not waste water at Bluebird Express Car Wash. On average, we use approximately 20 gallons per vehicle, while at average home car wash uses over 150 gallons per vehicle. We recycle over 60% of the water we use, so very little fresh water is required to effectively clean your car! Also, when you wash your vehicle at home, all of that water goes directly to the river, which is damaging to more than just the fish! All of our water goes through an advanced filtration system before it is sent to the sewer system, not the river.
At Bluebird Express Car Wash, we have an extremely intricate and advanced water reclamation system. Essentially, the water used to wash your car will fill up a specialized tank below the tunnel. In the tank, we have a water sorting system, where grease and oil separate to the top, and sand, mud and other particles separate to the bottom. The clean water in the middle is filtered through another tank where a specialized filtration system purifies the water of any remaining particles or impurities. Our goal is to ensure that the water we are using for our customers is perfect, and that the water we send to the sanitary system is in better shape than when we received it.
When washing at home 50 gallons per car and the water goes straight to the river, it isn’t filtered or treated.
